Hoodies On A Runway??

As New York Fashion Week comes to an end, the runway continues to highlight unique and elaborate pieces. For Fashion Week this year, a host of high fashion brands also introduced hoodies on the runway. This is displaying the combination of style and comfort and style in one. Designers at Proenza Schouler made comfort a top priority with a shearling oversized hoodie look. To add, At Carolina Herrera, Wes Gordon embellished a purple hoodie with large puffed sleeves and floral appliques. In addition to these beautiful articles of clothing, past runways have also displayed simple and comfortable items. Even Rihanna was shown wearing a hoodie at the past NYFW show with Puma x Fenty. Also in past shows, sweatshirts have been used with interesting details including geometric patterns or shapes as well as interesting color combinations. All of these looks have proven that comfort can still be stylish and used in runway fashion.
